On Thursday, Power Mech Projects Ltd. declared that it has secured an order from Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, a Vedanta Limited subsidiary, for the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of a 3X660 MW supercritical thermal power plant in Punjab’s Mansa District’s Banawala Village.
The company announced in a regulatory filing that it had received an order for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 3X660 MW supercritical thermal power plant of Talwandi Sabo Power Limited, a Vedanta Limited subsidiary, at Banawala village, Mansa District, Punjab. The order is valued at Rs 865.00 crore. The project is anticipated to be completed in five years, starting on November 1, 2024.
Power Mech Projects in Hyderabad reported its fiscal first quarter results earlier in August, showing a 21% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 61.72 core on higher revenues. It declared a net profit of Rs 50.96 crore for the April–June quarter of the previous fiscal year, 2023–2024. Revenue for the company increased to Rs 1,007.39 crore from Rs 865.13 crore in the same period last year.
