Waaree Energies receives two projects totaling 398 MW for the provision of solar modules.

Waaree Energies declared on Monday that it had accepted two projects totaling 398 MW for the provision of solar modules. The projects for which the orders are intended are 249 MW and 149 MW, respectively.

“The company has received orders for 2 projects aggregating 398 MW, for the supply of solar modules,” Waaree Energies stated in a regulatory filing. The renowned customer owns, develops, and operates renewable power projects in India and has placed orders for projects totaling 249 MW and 149 MW, respectively. According to the exchange filing, the solar modules’ supply is expected to start in FY26.

Waaree Energies announced earlier this month that Rewa Ultra Mega Solar Limited (RUMSL) has awarded a Letter of Award (LoA) to its fully owned subsidiary, Waaree Forever Energies, for the construction of a 170 MW solar power plant in Madhya Pradesh.

It further stated that the solar plant will make it possible to generate and transmit clean energy through the Inter-State Transmission System (ISTS). “The project will contribute significantly to India’s renewable energy goals by providing Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Ltd and Indian Railways with renewable energy,” the business had stated in a regulatory filing.
