Shares of Nifty Realty continued their gains amid positive markets on Thursday. The index rose by 4% after hitting the Oberoi Realty record on Thursday.
Phoenix Ltd was in top gear, with Prestige and Indiapools real estate gaining more than 5%. Suntech Realty was also positive.
The declining cases and gradual restrictions in many cities like Mumbai have easily helped the sector not fully shut down during the second wave of Covid-19 locking up.
At 1:18 pm, the Nifty Realty was up 12.90 points, or 3.80%, at 352.15. The sector made huge profits based on the percentage followed by the media and metal sectors to keep markets excited. Traded on the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50.
Oberoi Realty rose 8.78% to Rs 657.35 per piece to boost performance. Its shares touched a 52-week high of Rs 663 per piece on Thursday. Phoenix Mills extended gains to closely follow among big profits. It was up 6.76% to Rs 861.70 per piece. Prestige was up more than 6% at Rs 289.50 per piece and Indiabulls was up 5.27% at Rs 105.80 per piece.
Suntech Realty rose 4.78% to Rs 303.35 per piece.
DLF and Sofa accounted for more than 2%, while Brigade and Godrej Properties accounted for more than 1.5%. The hemispherical properties were all in the green of the positive field.
