Inox Wind receives a 60 MW wind turbine order from Serentica Renewables.

On Wednesday, Inox Wind Limited (IWL) declared that Serentica Renewables (Serentica) had placed an order with IWL for 60 MW. According to a regulatory filing, this order is for the delivery of 3 MW class turbines by H1 CY25. These WTGs will also be installed at the hybrid renewable energy project site in Karnataka that Serentica is developing. After commissioning, IWL will offer operations and maintenance (O&M) services for several years.

According to Inox Wind, Serentica’s partners, notably the Vedanta Group, will receive the electricity produced by this project. Large future chances to collaborate with another prestigious C&I client are made possible by this order for IWL.

“We are very happy to establish our relationship with Serentica with this 60 MW equipment supply order,” stated Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO, of Inox Wind. Our customized products and solutions for wind projects are expected to be one of the key drivers behind India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) players’ rapid shift to green energy. Combining Inox Wind’s wind project experience and Serentica’s extensive renewable project plans is ideal for advancing this mutually beneficial collaboration.

According to Serentica Renewables CEO Akshay Hiranandani, “We at Serentica Renewables are dedicated to facilitating the decarbonization of energy-intensive industries through creative and sustainable solutions.” This 60 MW wind project in Karnataka, which we are working on with Inox Wind, is another important step in our mission to provide our partners—including the Vedanta Group—with dependable, environmentally friendly electricity. Setting new standards for renewable power generation and hastening India’s shift to a sustainable energy future are our shared goals.
