On Thursday, Transformers and Rectifiers (India) declared that the Power Grid Corporation of India has placed an order valued at Rs 565 crore. According to the order, the business must produce and provide transformers and reactors with a 420 kV to 765 kV class voltage range and 80 MVAr to 500 MVA.
It said in a regulatory filing, “We would like to inform you that Transformers and Rectifiers (India) Limited has secured orders of Rs 565 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India Limited.” It is anticipated that the order will be finished in FY26.
The company went on, “The company is dedicated to providing top-notch goods and services and has established itself as a leading transformer manufacturer in the nation over time. “Transformers & Rectifiers India received orders from RRVPNL earlier in September for power transformers with a capacity of 50 MVA and 132/33 KV, valued at Rs 114 crore.
Additionally, it received an order for transformers from SPIL in August that had a total contract value of Rs 91 crore. Transformers with a 50 to 500 MVA and 33 kV Class to 420 kV Class range were to be made according to this order. A further transformer order worth a total of Rs 70 crore was received from KEPIPL.
