The price of crude oil high by Rs 9 per barrel to Rs 4,761 on Thursday as participants expanded their positions to meet the need for a strong space.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude for April delivery was trading at Rs 9 or 0.19, up to Rs 4,761 per barrel on 5,520 lots.
Analysts said the challenge for participants was to raise
crude oil prices in futures trading.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude traded up 1.30% at $ 63.34 a barrel, and Brent crude traded down 0.38% at $ 66.83 a barrel in New York.
