Domestic markets saw a big sell-off as key indices traded in negative territory throughout the day. The bank had downgraded the second Nifty index by 7 0.7% for the second consecutive trading session, with both indices falling 2% / 1.2% respectively.
Midcap shares continued to trade with gains of% 10% on shares such as BSE, Crisil & IP Real Estate. The Nifty Midcap 100 Index closed 0.75% lower.
The market width ended in favor of the decline as the forecast/decline ratio ended at 1: 1x. Bank Nifty saw unknowingly long positions during the day.
Prior to the options (expiring July 29, 2021), call option strikes were seen throughout the board writing as the code option was limited.
