Hero electric declared that it has partnered with electric vehicle charging(EV) Infrastructure provider Bolt to set up 50,000 charging stations all over India in next 12 months. The electric two wheeler manufacturer saying that the move will benefit it’s more than 450,000 customers. Under the partnership Bolt charging points will also be installed at over 750 touch points of Hero electric.
Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric, said “We are happy to partner reach Bolt as its charging network will offer budget friendly charging solutions, further encouraging the switch to electric vehicles. A robust charging network has aided the growth of EV’s by keep in control among riders.”
Hero Electric, the largest electric two wheeler manufacturer in India, retailed 65,303 units in FY22, witnessing a growth of 342% over in FY21, according to FADA’s report. The Company sells models like the Photon, Optima, Nyx, Clash, Atria and Eddy, under the city speed and comfort speed categories.
“This this collaboration will help to create a flawless charging experience for Hero Electric customers as they can use the existing Hero Electric app and website for discovery, booking and payment,” said Jyotiranjan Harichandan, co-founder, Bolt.
