Europe Assistance awards TCS a multi-year contract for IT services


Reimagining its worldwide IT operating model for improved resilience, scalability, and user experience, Europ Assistance, a global assistance and travel insurance firm, has chosen Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a strategic partner. This announcement was made on Monday.

In order to align its IT ecosystem with its mission of providing services “Anytime, Anywhere” and support its growth, Europ Assistance, which provides travel, mobility, home and family, health, and concierge services to nearly 300 million customers in over 200 countries and territories, was looking for a global transformation partner. As the key partner, TCS will expand its delivery centers throughout Europe and other regions to offer Europ Assistance end-to-end enterprise IT application services.

As part of the multi-year agreement, TCS will also improve operational resilience and business agility by utilizing its in-house developed product, ignioTM AIOps, from its Digitate portfolio of products. With the help of AI and ML, the solution will increase availability and productivity by giving Europ Assistance useful insights on its technology stack.

Through this agreement, Europ Assistance will be able to support its growing ecosystem of partnerships, scale its business capabilities, and accelerate time to market. The collaboration will also put a strong emphasis on co-innovation, with TCS and Europ Assistance collaborating on innovative use cases that make use of generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
